I had never heard of the secret 7 but since reading up on them I am really interested in the projects they create and the main concept behind them. So 7 tracks are picked by 7 artists. Creatives (us) have to then represent the track in there own visual signature. 700 sleves are selected and exhibited. The sleves can then be bought but the people who buy them have no idea who is it designed or which artist features on the track until them money has been handed over.
Unfortunately the new secret 7 isn't going to be announced until January 2017, but one of the past artist is Jack Garratt who's music I am a big fan of and I am going to his gig next week! Even though I would actually be submitting anything it would just the right brief to practise with. This is a perfect opportunity to have a go at designing the cover. experiencing the music first hand and seeing other peoples reactions will be a great platform for inspiration. There is also Chvches who's music I equally enjoy so I may do that one too! Below Jack Garratt performing 'Worry' at the Brits.
