• This vidio is a great example with how the animation works with the music rather then just plays over the top. The appearing,  opening and closing of the doors and the way the monsters move looks to have been dictated by the music, almost a dance. This approach I think really fits well with the young audience that the film is aimed at. 
• There is a lot going on the screen and it is colourful. This again I think is a consideration for the audience but also reflects the mood of the film being funny and odd.
• It is a good example of simple shapes being and just animating with though in a fun way. 
• the hand drawn elements really work with the digital shapes as they have been overlayed on each other, but having the more detailed monsters creates a great contrast to the plain background and half and half doors. 
• The different elements also flow together in a fun and creative way, for example when the letters try to eat the monsters and the monsters come out of the doors. It also employs the main concept of the film. monster hiding in your bed room cupboard. 
• It is a strong opening sequences that sets the film up well.
