The New York Times- China's threat to wild tigers.

• The purpose of the image is to appear along side an articular about wild tiger threat.
•  Having the tiger in black and the people in white is a great contrast. Both elements balance each other successfully and this allows for all elements to be seen clearly. 
• The narrative running through the animals body is really good idea and accompany the artical well. The men holding there weapons and all look to be going towards the tigers head.   
• I like how the people in the image are very vague in appearance, not greatly detailed, I think it allows for more detail to be used in the tiger and dons't over complicate the image.  
• Also the shapes used for the trees help elevate the tigers shape. and the mark making on the legs and tail gives the image a tribal feel which I like.
• Making the Tiger looks so beautiful and the men so plain add emphasis onto the topic of man killing beast and the size of the animal in the image is almost a reflection of it's importance.
• The image looks to have been made using digital media as that would be a sure way of applying the white in a controlled manor on the block black background
