After effects/ animation that use music- Ratatouille- pixar, disney

Music is a really strong factor in this sequence as,  most all of the rats movements are based around it for example, the foot steps at the beginning, and the rat get his tale caught in the trap, just so when it hits the music breaks. The pace also reflects the movement of a rat, fast quick and light. It has been prissily timed so it fits with the musics rhythm and pace. This must have been hard as because it is a piece of classical music the pace and rhythm change frequently.  So this would mean adapting and changing the movements often. However I think that this makes for a more interesting animation , as it allows the veiwer these reprieve and then throws another load of information at them, rather then just a consistent fast beat with an overload of information.  the music also replicates the sound of some of the objects for example the alarm clock is a shrill flute. So small details in the music can bring a connection between the objects and the music.
