In cold blood development.

 I created this Lino based on the murders of the clutters. I created a gun target with and eye in the middle as it is described in the book that Mrs Clutters died with her eyes wide open. so it reflects the books dark subject.

 Whilst waiting to get into the print room I thought it would be worth using illustrator to create basic shapes then transfer them onto photoshop and adding texture to them to see how it would work. and surprisingly I found it worked well.  So I spent the rest of today developing and playing around with these shapes and I later overlaid the shapes with the print. The shapes really help add colour to the cover and texture. I also found that playing around with the blending options changes the colours.
