Artwork development.

From sketches I made in my sketchbook I have cut out some better faces. Just with black paper because I wanted to see how it would work because the white I though wasn't bold enough. The black is definitely bolder and you can really see the detail but they are very flat but this could be solved by adding textured background underneath to try and add some different levels. I could also try a drop shadow?
But these faces are definitely better then the ones before I think, even if some of them are slightly scary I think that it will make the book more interesting and darker reflecting the situation these people are in. I also wanted them to look similar because i want to show that they are a community and they are all in the same position. I think that this is a real important feature to get across in order for the veiwer to understand this.
