Change of plan.

I am changing to product and packaging. From producing work for responsive I have been making several colour screen prints that involve pattern and shape. I have really been enjoying the process and want to take this way of image making on to fabric. I think by wanting to do this it opens up much more potential to create fun and creative outcomes , also it will give me chance to make something that I haven't really had the opetuninty to do before and learning how to work with different restrictions will help my practise. Adult publishing didn't seem to have as many things that I it could be applied to , where as product and packaging has loads, from home ware , fashion to food packaging. And there is still opportunity to make the works into book cover for example but I feel like I will have much more freedom and ability to play with print more in product and packaging. It also excites me more to think that I could design scarfs , cushion covers and ceramics e.c.t and make it into a physical , interesting object. I just need to come up with a concept that works fit in with the designs I intend to make and the audience.
