Artwork development.

These experiments I found much more productive in coming up with designs and ideas then doing roughs. By doing it this way I can play around more easily with the different images and find the best composition quickly. I also allows me to investigate the textures that work best too, and adding other colours and layers on top of this.

Things that I am happy with:

• I really like that way the blue triangles work and how they add colour to the image that balances well with the black and white tones.
• I also like the scratching that I have added in using my scalpel , I did this while the black ink was wet and the when I scratch into it , it showed through some of the blue.
• The texture of the roller and ink created. It was very quick to apply and took time to control but still worked well.

 Things to improve:

• I need to find more images to used rather then the face and hearts, I need to look in books and websites to find some copy right free illustrations.
