Victoria Borges work mainly consist of collage piece like this one. I particularly like her work because of the different lines and marks that she creates using , different materials. It looks like she has used a mixture of analog media with digital. I like how she has taken an image of a face and worked into it, but even thought the colours around the face are bright and cheerful i feel like the face with it green blue colours looks sad, It gives the impression of isolation. The small black oval shapes also look like tears. I real like the composition of the piece, all the shapes help to lead your eye around the piece however there is one clear direct line of slight and that is the persons eye looking at you, you look there first and then around at the rest of the images. the framing of the face too with the hair textures. It is also a very busy looking image and I like this too becuase I think the juxtuposion of the isolated person and the hectic background is interesting.
