For the dividing pages between the main images of the zine i will be creating simple pattern pages. These screen print experiments , were somthing that I quickly came up with using the mono print shapes I made orginally for the penguin cover. compositionally I think that they are good shapes, and mixing them with certain elements of the main images or formatting them in a way the links to the images could be interesting. The dimond grid within the circle is a part of the next image i'm developing.
Printing on coloured paper is somthing which I havn't done before. For the final thing the background colour will have to be screen printed as I dont think you can get coloured stock in the type of paper I would like to use. But seeing how the colours work overlayed helps. Im no so keen on the red but the black with blue is much more comfortable to look at also wouldnt be a distraction if a mian image was beside it.
