Feed back of roughs and project overview.

Feed back from group:

  • They liked all of the stories and thought that they all communicated well.
  • The different medium experiments where good.
  • They seemed to prefer the frank story more but also like the refugee one. However the passage of time made it more up to date and how it is from a point of view that is rarely herd of.
  •  Saddle stitch had more impact when looking though the book because you turn the page and see for yourself what happens, compared to a consitina which is lade out in front of the viewer. I think that there is more interaction between the viewer and the book with a saddle stitch book.
  • From seeing others work I think that I need to be much more experimental with imagery for a story like Franks I think it could add a really nice twist, perhaps don't be so literal with my images.
The mood I am trying to convey in these story is sad, but with a shock factor, because both story I told in my roughs had a surprising element to them , due to war and I think that this is the key theme to my books, but over the holidays I could use with going on more trip out to try and get more stories, speak to more people and this may spark more ideas.
